A Good Flow

This years Open Doors art studios event was extremely lively.  I was delighted to have so many visitors venture up the hill to my studio. Seventy to be precise. It's been five years of getting the word out and we can safely say that Open Doors is recognized as an established Winterthur event in Switzerland.  So much so that we had visitors from more than 25 neighboring cities amounting to again more than 2000 folks. This year it seemed that every visitor had been to at least 2 other studios.  The event received press from 6 publications which we know of and a big applause from Winterthur's Burotourismus. Open Doors is a non-profit self-sustaining platform which provides emerging and established artists with opportunities to present their artwork to new art appreciators and seasoned collectors alike.. There are approximately 200 artists working in this historical art city and about 5 established galleries. Open Doors fills the void.
