Diamonds and Gold: a social commentary on suburban existentialism

On June 22, 2011 international painting duo M&M replaced John Chamberlain's temporary art installation at AXA Winterthur in Switzerland with "Diamonds & Gold" 280 x 280 four panels oil on linen.  Life is sometimes about who you know, location-location-location and a rock star attitude.

Diamonds & Gold is the result of ten collaborative working sessions. Portrayed are young adults who form and shape our world.   They are on the brink of adulthood and will soon have to carry the responsibilities required of life.  This is a social commentary on suburban existentialism. The passport could be from any country and the young adults could have similar experiences.   Depending on your ideals the activities may be considered provocative  or commonplace. However  the nuances of the diamond ring and gold leaf beer cans suggest a better life.
